| TB•Security and CNPIC organize the I International Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Meeting |

 Cyber Security and Critical Infrastructure Protection is the name of the first edition of the international critical information infrastructure forum, which will take place in Madrid on 18th and 19th of February this year. The meeting, the first with these characteristics to be held in Spain, is organized by the Centro Nacional de Protección de Infraestructuras Críticas, CNPIC, depending of the Spanish Ministry of the Interior and by TB•Security, an organization specialized in providing cyber security services (SOC and CERTs, under others) and Critical Infrastructure Protection. The Spanish Presidency of the Minister Council of the European Union, ENISA; The Spanish Ministries of Interior, Industry and Defense or the CCN (Spanish Centre of Cryptology) are some of the organisms that support the meeting where the main goal is to create a discussion forum in which public and private entities, both national and international, debate about the different aspects that influence critical infrastructure protection, searching for ways of understanding and future collaboration. Regarding the speakers, international representatives will be present such as the European Union, NATO, or OAS; national entities like Spanish CCN-CERT or INTECO, the British CPNI or the Department of Homeland Security of the USA, as well as the operators of the main critical infrastructures of Spain. The I International CIIP Meeting has been divided into two journeys; each journey will approach the CII from a different point of view: Panels (plenary sessions of strategic content in which the agents involved in this field will draw an outlook of the present situation of the sector, studying current initiatives and future commitments), and Workshops (technical discussions to advance in organizational and technological solutions to adapt different organizations to the new threats and to draw conclusions that will help as a basis for future actions). TB•Security will participate as a speaker on Panel IV: Industry Solutions that will take place on February 19th at 9.30 a.m. The company will use the occasion to show the significance of Critical Infrastructure Protection at all the sectors of society, the importance of public-private collaboration in the field and own solutions for IC operators (own methods to identify threats, risks and vulnerabilities; Analysis of risks and auditory services for industrial control systems, management of security incidents, Security Plans for the Operator, etc…) - Meeting Program - Enrolment - I International CIIP Meeting home page |
